New President at SGU – Dr. Marios Loukas!

Hey everyone!
Just saw that St. George’s University has appointed Dr. Marios Loukas as the new President 
He’s been a big part of SGU’s academic leadership already, and now he's taking the top role. Super exciting to see someone with a strong background in medicine and education stepping in to lead the university.
As a student, I think this is a great move. Hoping this brings more innovation and growth to our community

Congrats to SGU and especially Dr Loukas on the new appointment. From what I’ve read, Dr Loukas brings a very strong academic and research background; his long tenure at SGU and contributions to anatomy education and curriculum innovation already speak volumes.
As someone interested in Caribbean medical schools, I believe this leadership change could bring significant value, including greater focus on academic excellence, improved curricula, and updated teaching methods. I’m hopeful it will benefit both students and future applicants.
