As a current medical student here in Guyana, I’d say one of the biggest benefits is the supportive learning environment. Classes are small, so professors know you by name and are approachable when you need extra help. Also, since English is the medium of instruction, I never had to struggle with a language barrier. Clinical rotations have been eye-opening — you really see a wide variety of cases, which builds confidence for the future.
