Hey everyone,
I’ve been doing a lot of research on Caribbean medical schools, and one thing that keeps coming up is accreditation and international recognition. I understand it's a crucial factor, but I’d love to hear from students, grads, or anyone in the know:
I’ve been doing a lot of research on Caribbean medical schools, and one thing that keeps coming up is accreditation and international recognition. I understand it's a crucial factor, but I’d love to hear from students, grads, or anyone in the know:
- Which accreditations should we absolutely look for?
- How does recognition impact residency placements in the U.S., Canada, or the UK?
- Are there schools that are technically accredited but still face issues with recognition abroad?
- Can you still practice in the U.S. if a school is not listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDMS)?
